Where The Heart Is

Eyes red from tears that have shed
Clutching my side feeling my heart has died
I don't know what to do anymore 
Being beaten by greater than the power of Thor
No one can see the battle raging inside me
A full out war with me behind in score
It hurts always hurts to know that no one can see the show

People always seem to hide what they are truly feeling, DON'T BE A ROBOT! Show who you truly are, show what you are feeling, let it all out! Scream it to the sky! Say what you want to say, and just let the words pour out of your mouth, who cares what others think. What should matter is how you think of yourself. And if you can't say it, then write it down like I do, put it in a poem, just get it out! Because let me tell you, if you keep what you are really feeling all bundled up inside......you..will..explode! 

Because in here, that one spot in your chest, is where the heart is, it beats like a war drum it's where all of those feelings are kept. It's where you keep your dreams, hopes, and wishes. But like everything good there is also bad, it is where your fears and doubts lye as well. Don't let that tiny piece of your heart take over all of your hopes and dreams. Let the love and beauty in your heart come alive, say or write what you feel. Don't pay attention to what others say, it's all you. It's all about you, and what you want to feel. Don't be afraid to show your true self. Please don't be like a robot and be totally monotone, and is that doll that anyone can control. Break free! Break free, and be you.

My Soul

"It is said that the eyes are windows to the soul, then how come no one can see that mine is shattered, broken, beaten and bloody? So when people look into my eyes and say they are bright and beautiful, it makes me wonder, they think pain is beautiful?" -Me

People will pour their souls into their writing. It is a way of expressing their deepest thoughts and feelings. This is why I love to write. It is a way of freeing my feelings from within me. It is a way to relieve myself of feelings that I keep hidden from others.

This is how I express myself as well as many other people. Writing gives you freedom like nothing else. You have the freedom to write what ever you want and to be completely honest. And that's what I want to get out of this blog, the freedom to truly express myself.
